Cheer Mom

Being a cheer mom to a 10 year old who is on 3 different competitive teams is a lot of work but it's well worth it. In one squad, she performs 2 different routines because she is on 2 teams within that one Squad. She performs with girls much closer to her age then she is required to change her uniform to perform with girls up to about 16 years old. It's very competitive but they are cheerleaders and there is never any negativity at the comps. They have won tons of medals and trophies. I don't think we ever walked away without them.

Cake decorating

I have been decorating cakes on and off for a long time. I don't do it for any reason other than I enjoy it. I wish I had more time to perfect my skills and maybe make some money but for now it's just a hobby. I have learned how to decorate using buttercream or fondant as well as chocolate and royal frosting. If you have the knowledge and correct tools you can make just about anything. It's fun to experiment with all the different techniques and ingredients.

Acrylic Painting

I have enjoyed painting ever since I was little but I have come a long way. I really like doing step by step paintings, I watch them on youtube and just follow right along, sometimes hitting the pause button but they usually come out really nice. You don't have to follow exactly what they do, you can play around with colors and add or remove anything from the steps. I also enjoy painting with my daughter and her friends. We set up a little area and all work on the same step by step instructions, its really cool to see how everyone is different.
